The project named Urban Commuter is a non-binding creative journey in the "what if?" territory. It owes its genesis to the times when our designer would do tiring journeys to get from the suburbs of London to the design studio located in its centre.

So, what if there was a network of autonomous vehicles in which - thanks to the subscription - one could comfortably sit in silence and without stopping to get to work rested and spend an hour (or often even more) relaxing? This is an advantage over public transport but in case of changing to vehicles like autonomous Urban Commuter from private cars, there are even more advantages. It would be, among others, the lack of parking activities (finding of a free parking space itself is quite a challenge) and contributing to the reduction of street congestion because the assumption of the project is that all seats on board are occupied for the majority of time.
 What is more - thanks to the interior layout - although there are co-passengers, everyone travels in complete privacy.
